How to Store the Preparation Equipment in a Long-Term Non-Use

A complete set of mineral processing equipment consists of many kinds of mineral processing equipment. In daily production process, not all of the mineral processing equipment are put into the production of the mineral processing and beneficiation plants. These preparation equipment in a long term of non-use should be stored properly, in order not to affect the later production effect.

In order to protect the preparation equipment which will be in idle for a long period from malfunctions during the process of storage, how shall we store them? Paying attention to the following aspects can help us to keep these dressing equipment at their best.

1. The long-term non-use of preparation equipment should be stored in dry room, in order to prevent the equipment from rusting.

2. For these mineral processing equipment with battery, the battery should be stored in dry and freeze-proofing place. And don not place conductive objects next to the storage battery. Lead-acid battery should be charged once a month and make sure its surface clean and dry.

3. Before storing, fill the fuel tank of the ore dressing equipment with diesel, then put fuel control lever in the idle position, and add preservatives if conditions permit, to make each lubricating part covered by new oil film.

4. Paint the exposed metal of ore dressing equipment with grease for fear of rust.

5. After the preparation equipment has been placed well, cover it with cloth. In addition, locate it indoors as far as possible. If we have no alternative but to place the equipment outside, it’s necessary to maintain the machine at regular intervals.
